Seller’s Comments

Back in the day when all Japanese cars were made in Japan, Toyota brought out the third iteration of it's Mustang competitor.  The styling was very well received then, and still looks great now.  Toyota was getting with the program and the more powerful Supra was based on this GT model.  This car was found sitting outside, unused, and apparantly the owner not needing or wanting to revive it,  decided to junk it so he could sell it.  I picked it up and and proceded to fix the important stuff like brakes and wheelbearings the cooling system and revive the title.  So dtiving this car is a rare, pure, analog driving experience with few power options and things to break.  The A/C did quit on me after about an hour of use, but it's fixable.  It's easy to work on and most parts to keep it running are available.  It's been smogged, Certified brake and lamp inspected, and overall safety checked road ready.  This example is around 97% rust free with no rot in the panels and looks like it has the original (now dull) paint job.  Most of the interior plastics are dry and brittle and the dash is cracked and some of the interior panels could use some work.  But it's all original and cosmetically in pretty decent condition.  The engine is the fabled 22R four cylinder hooked up to an excellent 5-speed.  You should get mid 20's average mpg with this 2500 lb sport coupe.  I have no reason to doubt whether the miles on the odometer are actual, but that can't be guaranteed.  Drive it like it is or restore it to pristine -  either way you win whith this rapidly appreciating classic!
